We offer world class instruction in a variety of
classes for all ages and everyone in the family. Adult Jiu-Jitsu, Children's Jiu-Jitsu, Women's Self Defense
Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai Kick Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts
(gi-less class). Groups and individual lessons
available. We operate 6 days a week with classes in both
morning and evening hours. Our instructors have
extensive martial arts and fitness backgrounds and will
make sure that you achieve you personal goals, whatever
they may be, competition, fitness improvement, enjoyment
or simply personal excellence.

We are happy to announce that we are
moving to a newer and larger location
here in Brentwood. Demand for our
classes have been very high so we are
expanding.
The new address will be at 3291 Walnut
Blvd. Suite 140. The new school will
have 6000 + sq/ft filled with state of
the art equipment. There will be 2, 1900
sq/ft. mat areas, a boxing ring, 12
hanging heavy bags, dressing rooms and a
shower room and a pro shop. We'll be
hosting a big party for the Grand
Opening. The date will be posted soon.

Muay Thai Morning
Classes and new MMA Class!!
We are offering a 2-week trial for those
interested in MMA classes. The classes are
taught Wednesdays at 6pm. Some of the concepts
covered by Professor Crosley are: Striking,
Striking to takedowns, Countering takedowns and
The Clinch, Fighting from your back and more.
The full class curriculum is available at the
school for viewing. (non-students must call for
appointment)
Starting Monday, November 3rd, we will be
offering Muay Thai morning classes on Mondays
and Fridays at 10am. We hope to see you train
more often!!

CGJJA students who competed this past weekend at
the US Open tournament in Santa Cruz.
Ian Summit - 1st Place white
belt masters (Medium-heavy)
James Call - 1st Place blue
belt seniors (Medium-heavy)
Brandon Yciamo (Stockton
Affiliate) - 1st Place white belt juvenile
Instructor Ryan Murphy won his first match in
the Brown Belt Open weight class convincingly,
but due to an error of the timer staff table,
got his victory taken away.
It is a shame and very unfortunate the way
tournament staff handled the situation. This
type of occurrence is a big disrespect towards
the competitors and their teams.
It's Official! - We are
Moving!
We are moving to 3291
Walnut Blvd suite 140 in the next few months.
This building is right in front of where we are
currently located. The Grand Opening date will
be announced soon.
The brand new facility will have over 6000
square feet of training space, changing rooms,
multiple restrooms with a shower, a boxing ring,
2 mat areas and state of the art equipment. We
will be expanding our class offerings, as well
as frequency. More information coming soon!

Stephanie Gracie Brown
Belt!!
Our Muay Thai head
instructor has just been promoted to the rank of
Brown Belt in Jiu-Jitsu! Steph has also been
training and competing in grappling tournaments
since 2001. Congrats Steph, well deserved!
Below are some of her accomplishments in the
sport:
*3-time Gracie Open Champion ( 01, 02, 03)
*2-time Pan American Medalist ( 2004-Gold,
2003-Bronze)
*All wins by the way of submission.

Stockton - Grand Opening
We wanted to invite all of
the adult Jiu-Jitsu students to join us for the
Grand Opening of our first school affiliate
Saturday, September 13th at 11:30am, in
Stockton, Ca. Professor Crosley Gracie will be
personally teaching the class along with school
representatives Ernest Mello and Chuck Walker.
The school is located on 1145 W. Fremont St.
Stockton, Ca 95203.

Head Instructor
Crosley Gracie
Crosley Gracie was born in Rio de
Janeiro, Brazil, son of Rosley Gracie
and grandson of the founder of Gracie
Jiu-Jitsu, Carlos Gracie. He started
training at the age of 9 years old with
uncle Grand Master Reylson Gracie in
1988. In 1992, he went on to train at
uncle's Carlson Gracie Academy competing
in an internal tournament held the same
year winning his first Jiu-Jitsu match.
